Adobe Acrobat and Reader - January' 22 updates are Live!
We are happy to announce the latest release of Acrobat and Reader (Continuous & Classic Tracks) on January' 22 have left the buildings! We are now LIVE.
What's in the update?
- The latest update of Acrobat & Reader contains:
- Bug Fixes.
- Performance & Stability Improvements.
Adobe recommends installing updates of the Acrobat and Reader for Windows & Mac Continuous Track 21.011.20039, Classic 20.004.30020, & Classic 2017 17.011.30207 as soon as possible.
Bug fixes:
CEF Infra
- Blank Save As dialogue shown on saving a file
- Unable to type @ symbol with French or German keyboard in Add Signer's screen when requesting for a signature
Editing
- Acrobat crashes when Justify Text is clicked just after selecting Add Text in Edit PDF
Fill and Sign
- MAC: No cursor is shown in the text field while adding/editing text with Fill & Sign app
Installer
- Registry key to disable 64-bit Reader upgrade is not working in some scenarios
PDFMaker
- An incorrect picture is rendered when ppt is converted to pdf
- Text shifts in the upper direction and gets clipped after conversion to pdf
- Adobe PDFMaker distorting an image when converting PowerPoint to PDF
How to install Updates?
- Install updates from the Help menu of Acrobat/ Reader DC. In the application, go to Help > Check for updates. Reboot the machine (If possible) once after updating the Adobe Acrobat/ Reader DC.
