Copied

OSX 10.12.1 Safari 10.0.1

  • In Safari tried to open a PDF from a reputable website.  I was told I had to open Acrobat DC and accept end user agreement.
  • Couldn't  figure out how to find user agreement. Solution suggested online was to start Acrobat DC and it would force to user agreement. It didn't.
  • Used AppCleaner to uninstall then downloaded then ran installer 15.017.20050
  • Installer ran until "Please choose the copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to up date.  Problem was previous copy had been unistalled. (residue still in trash)
  • Hit cancel and installer quit with "The installation failed" dialog.
  • Found another installer 1502020039 running gave error "Found a higher version Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in the installation location. Installation will terminate.
  • Have tried to "PUT BACK" files from trash but nothing happens.
  • Spotlight and Finder searches can't find Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app (other than PC version under Parallels)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Norm
