Adobe Acrobat: Edit Images

Before the latest update, I was able to copy and paste an image (specially from the Snipping Tool) into a PDF.  Then I was able to edit the size of the image, etc when it was pasted onto a page (showed the blue box corners).   However, now when I do this the image is locked into a certain size (with white box corners) and I can't edit it at all.   Why did this change?!  I now have to save all images and then go thru a longer process of manually uploading each image via the sidebar.

Title edited by moderator for clarity—was "Adobe Acrobat".

What version of Adobe Acrobat are you using? The free Reader or Standard or Pro? DC or XI or X?

What tool are you using to edit the image?

Does it work as expected for images you insert and you only have problems with images you paste?
