Adobe acrobat reader öppnar inte pdf-filerna - Mac

Jag har använt Adobe Acrobat Reader i flera år på min iMac. För någon vecka sedan slutade Acrobat reader att öppna pdf-filerna. Acrobat Reader är förvald för att öppna pdf. Jag har avinstallerat Acrobat reader två gånger och åter installerat programmet. Jag har ikonen nedtill på skärmen. Kan högerklicka på den och får bara upp Alternativ/Visa alla fönster/Göm/Avsluta. Har givetvis provat att avsluta och starta om. Det funkar fortfarande inte. Vad kan det vara för fel?/ Daniel

As i was able to understand the issue from the description mentioned above, you are unable to open any pdf files on your mac using Reader, is that correct?

Could you please try steps suggested under "Correct Answer" in the following link?
