Please elaborate your question a bit more and help us understanding your requirement.

Adobe Reader 6 and Adobe Reader DC, these two are different versions of similar product. Adobe Reader 6 was released a way back, which has now been discontinued. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the latest version. 

By compatibility, if you are referring to their features, then Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is ofcourse an upgraded version with enhanced features.
