Hi Lany,

Is there a possibility that application opens up for few seconds? Or is it just shows error immediately after launch?

If possible, then open app go to Help>Repair Installation.

If not, then uninstall the application using cleaner tool- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs 

And reinstall it-  Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
