Hi.  After upgrading the operating system on my Mac to Mojave, I am not able to print PDF Documents.  When I hit print, the application crashes and I get a crash report.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it didn't solve the problem.  I spoke to Apple support and they told me the problem is on the Adobe side.  I called Adobe and they told me they don't support this free application by phone and suggested that I post here and Adobe representative would answer.

Please advise.  Thank you!

Hello Rsibragi,

We're sorry for the trouble and for the delayed response. Please install the latest patch of Adobe Reader 19.010.20091 from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after updating Adobe Reader.

Try printing the PDF file as 'Print as Image', for steps, please refer to Print PDF as image | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

Make sure you have the latest driver/firmware of the printer installed.

Are you experiencing the crash issue with all the PDF file or with one specific PDF file?

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Hi.  Thank you for getting back to me.  However, none of the suggestions worked.

1.  When I go to help>check for updates, it says "Adobe Acrobat Reader is already up to date"

2.  I cannot print the PDF as 'Print as Image', because as soon as I go to File > Print, the application quits.  I don't even have a chance to select 'Advanced'.

3.  I do not have the latest driver of the printer installed, because it is an older printer and the driver is not available for it (I have HP LaserJet 1012), but none of my other applications have an issue with my printer.

4.  The printing issue is with all PDF files.

Thank you.
