After installing Windows 11, Adobe Acrobat Reader Dc does not open.

Acrobat reader has been selected as the default pdf reader.

Ran the Adobe troubleshooter.

There is no choice for Windows 10 in the compatibility Mode.

You posted to the orphaned Acrobat Reader Mobile (beta) forum with one other post asking why it exists. Are you using the beta version? If not, we can move your post.

Hi Exallus, I also have Windows 11 and found that Acrobat reader works if you install the reader WITH McAfee plus. Open Acrobat reader after install and check if the program opens ok. Then click on any PDF - properties - open with Acrobat Reader. Then uninstall McAfee plus if another antivirus program is already installed on the computer. Originally I tried installing Acrobat Reader without McAfee plus and Acrobat Reader refused to open. Hope this helps, Karel
