I have two computers that reset all the preferences when restarted. For example I set up the comments pane to not open when comments are present but the next document opened the comments pane opens and the setting to changed back to ticked off. I set up the quick tools with our preferences and they revert back to the default on the next open. Windows 10, Adobe Acrobat Standard, up to date.

Hi davids20319304,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Please ensure that the application is updated to the latest version. Share the current version of the Acrobat and OS used on the machine.

If you are using Acrobat, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/4c26pDo).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/4c62eWT.

Check if that helps.

If the issue still occurs, we will require logs for further investigation.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
