Adobe PDF form fill in

New Here ,
Feb 12, 2017 Feb 12, 2017

I'm confused.   I have a version of Adobe reader that, up to last year, allowed me to fill in pdf forms.

I did this specifically with tax forms for the past several years.

Now, when I get a form from the IRS.GOV site,  I am unable to fill in the form.

My question.   Am I downloading the correct form type?   Does my current Adobe product no longer edit and fill in forms?

Do I need to get another version of Adobe  (Adobe DC?)

Thanking you in advance for your answer,

  Bob DArezzo

Bob The IRS offers fillable forms and.forms made to be printed. You can post the file somewhere for us to, look at or send us a direct link to the file on the IRS website for us to look at. For security reasons you are always best off to upgrade to the latest version of Reader. Is there a reason you have not done so?
