Hi.

I have a customer who is experiencing issues with Adobe Reader DC when they are opening PDF files from Outlook (Office 365)

They are using a Terminal Server solution.

Adobe Reader DC is freezing 3-5 seconds when opening PDF files, and when they switch to Print view.

The problem sounds minuscule, but they are handling 30-50 PDF files everyday pr. user, and the issue is an annoyance.

I have  reinstalled Adobe Reader DC and updated the Adobe Reader DC to the latest version.

Please advice.

Hi LooZypher,

We're sorry for the trouble and for the delayed response, please install the latest patch available of Adobe Reader 19.010.20091 from help>check for updates, reboot the machine(if possible) after updating the Adobe Reader and try opening the PDF files from Outlook.

You may repair the Adobe Reader from help>repair installation, reboot the machine if possible after repair.

Is it possible to share a sample PDF file which causes the freeze issue so that we can try to replicate the issue at our end? Share the file by direct/private message only How Do I Send Private Message

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
