Hello,

I have recently changed my iMac and I transferred all my data using migration assistant. I am using Adobe Reader DC to read and edit pdfs and I find myself very comfortable with that. Unfortunately now it doesn't work anymore. As soon as I open a pdf and try to edit it or do anything different than just reading it, the app freezes and eventually crashes. I've tried everything: I downloaded a previous version of Adobe Reader but it gives me the same issues; I've tried to re-install it several times but I get the same problem; I've tried to open different pdf files but none works; I've checked for any update but I am running the latest version.

What do I do? I need the reader as I am as student and I frequently work with pdfs

Hi federicof43509471,

Try to check for updates and check if that resolves the issue.

Also try the troubleshooting steps provided in this help link: Troubleshoot Mac OS 10.x system errors, freezes | Adobe software

Let us know if issue still persists.

Regards,

Meenakshi
