Adobe Reader DC is not responding on Windows 7

I just downloaded adobe reader DC and it will not respond, I am on windows 7. need help

Assuming you are able to access Reader's interface, could you please try checking udpate for Reader and see if that works?

Launch Reader>click Help>select Check for Updates

You may also download the update from here: Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows

If that doesn't work, try launching Reader as an administrator.

Locate Reader shortcut on the desktop>right click>select Run as administrator.

Do you see Reader not responding message when you launch Reader or when you open any pdf file in Reader?
