Adobe Reader DC on Windows 2008 R2 remote desktop server

Hi,

We are seeing multiple information and error messages under Windows Application log for Adobe reader DC.

The errors are not very informative and we believe these errors are linked to the remote desktop server hanging / freezing every so often.

I have done the usual troubleshooting steps;

1. Completed uninstall Adobe reader using the adobe cleanup tool

2. Reinstalled the Adobe Reader DC

3. DIsabled protected mode

Here are examples of the messages we are seeing;

Information message

The description for Event ID 1 from source Adobe Reader cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

Error Message

The description for Event ID 16 from source Adobe Reader cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Please advise what could be generating these errors and how I can resolve the issue.
