I saved a bunch of notes and highlighting in an Ebook, but when I tried opening the file again, all my notes are gone. I clicked save after every comment, but it did not do anything. Help??

Hello Melw,

We're sorry for the trouble and inconvenience you had. It is recommended to install Adobe Reader as Adobe Reader touch is an old and end of life and support product.

Please download and install Adobe Reader from the URL Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Sadly, there isn't much that can be done to recover the notes and highlights from the PDF if it was not auto-saved. Open the PDF from Recent section/tab in Adobe Reader if the file is available in the list and check for the notes.

You may also navigate to C:\Users\,username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC and see if the temp file is available.

let us know how it goes and share your observation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
