Hello and Happy New Year everyone.  I have been trying for some days to download historic statements from Barclays Bank from 2014 to 2015  to upload into

Ituit quick Books.  I have been able to get as far as xlvs in Excel and store the files,  but where it says to use the drop down list for CVS which is the type I need

CVS is not on the list,  and I am repeatedly reading that It cannot be done.  I hope that there is a way, as I purchased Microsoft Office 2013 and Adobe Export PDF

for this purpose - any help would be excellent as at 76 I have not much hair left to pull out.  Thank you & God Bless.

May I ask what you think could be used to do the transfer please, Excel xlvs creates an error message that there is something wrong and CSV is specified.  Adobe Export PDF was purchased as a converter why is CSV not included. The present statements are transferred when I log into IQB online and press update, a big improvement to entering items one at a time and most of them are already labelled.  The problem is with the historic statements, and I note that other people are having problems of the same nature which are not solved.

Best regards.

Export as Excel. Open in Excel. Fix the file now in Excel, this may be all ok but is more often a time consuming process or impossible. Then export from Excel as CSV.
