An unexpected eroro when editing a text

With the latest update a problem keeps closing my adobe reader especially when trying to edit a text or adjust its place in the page , any one can help ?

Could you please confirm the application installed on the machine- Adobe Reader/ Adobe Acrobat as in Adobe Reader, you can't edit text.

What is the complete error message you are getting?

Which Operating System is installed on the machine?

Also, let us know the dot version of the application?

For ex, To check the version in Adobe Reader>click Help>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader.
