Annotation/Comment and a Text

Explorer ,
Jan 26, 2017 Jan 26, 2017

Hi, I placed a square annotation or a comment on top of my text so that a "pop up box" will show when I mouse hover the text. Like this:

When I click the text though, the box for the annotation appears.

Is there a way to make the annotation not clickable but the "pop up box" will still show upon mouse hover? If not, is there another way to achieve the "pop up box" capability?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Marklouisbelache,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

There is setting to change under preferences   tab of the application, try to apply the changes and see if that helps.

Launch Reader>Edit >Preferences>Commenting> Pop-Up Open Behavior>Uncheck automatically open pop-up on mouse rollover>OK

For more details you may refer to the help document and check "Commenting Preferences"

Use annotation and drawing markup tools to add comments in PDFs, Adobe Acrobat DC

Hope this will work.

Regards,

Akanchha
