Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

It seems to be the font issue as its not properly embedded in the PDF file or its not present on your computer or you may not have the rights to use the font. Please go to Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Under rendering, check 'Use local fonts' > click OK and reboot the computer.

Also, go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/pdf-fonts.html and see if that works.
