Does anyone have an automated way to remove the right-side Tools Pane (via GPO or Registry)? Running Adobe Reader DC 21.001.20145, win10. I see old registry/gpo comments that worked for older versions of Reader but all I'm seeing now are ways to modify or delete the AppCenter_R.aapp, Home.aapp,Viewer.aapp files. We update Reader monthly in our environment, so each month any change we implement to these files will revert back to having the toolbar enabled. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi Vanessa,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you want to permanently close the tool pane in Acrobat Reader DC application using registry setting.

Please check out the steps provided in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/how-to-permanently-close-the-tools-pane-in-adobe-acrobat-dc.html and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal
