Hi,

maybe somebody will be able to help me.  For a long time I've stored all kind of PDF file for later reference.  at the time, I've decided to saved it on Dropbox so they were back up on my computer and on the cloud.  The problem I have now is I can't open most of those files anymore.

When I tried to open the files, I receive a message saying the file is not supported or has been damaged.  I could understand for 1 file but all of them?!?

Here are the links of 2 files.  Maybe somebody will know why I can't open them.

Thanks

These files are not valid PDF files. Either they got corrupt or the file extension is not correct and they never were PDFs to begin with.

That answer does not work for me. My tax document files are indeed valid PDF files since I had Adobe Acrobat Pro last year and I do this year. This issue on Adobe's end needs to be addressed and fixed with an actual solution allowing us to open our files without issues. (for privacy reasons, I will of course not share my tax documents)

That's a bold assertion. I can open my old files without issues. So may be the first part of the sentence may be true:they got corrupt!

It’s just pretty weird that all the PDF files are “corrupted” while all the other file type (like word or excel) are still valid...
