Cannot access E-Books downloaded fro University of Phoenix

I am a graduate of University of Phoenix (UOP). I have over 90 E-Books that I have downloaded from the UOP library since 2002. The UOP Tech's have disabled the global security in Java and adjusted the security (enhanced) in the Preferences. I had to go back into the library and download a newer copy of an E-book I had problems with. When the tech was through, the book now opens. However, I downloaded two other copies of old E-Books and now none of my books will open. We have uninstalled and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader and restarted the computer-twice. Can anyone tell me why I cannot unlock my E-Books? Thanks.

Probably not. There are many different book systems.
