Hello Nitin!

I hope you are doing well, and we apologize for the trouble.

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20428 Planned update, Mar 04, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and check. For more information, see this: https://adobe.ly/4irYKkJ.

If your system is unresponsive, ensure that all mandatory and optional updates for the operating system are installed.

If the app becomes unresponsive while using Digital Signatures, install the latest updates for the app as mentioned above.

If the issue persists, try disabling Enhanced Security for testing:

  1. Open Acrobat and go to Preferences.
  2. Navigate to Security (Enhanced).
  3. Uncheck Protected Mode at Startup and Enable Enhanced Security.
  4. Click OK, restart the app and your machine, and check if the issue is resolved.

After testing, please re-enable the security settings for protection.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
