Checkboxes not accepting input..

I created a JS in Acrobat DC in a form with checkboxes to accept a checkmark or 'X'.. When I preview in on computer it works;

however when I put it on my phone and/or tablet.. The box just blinks but no input is in it. 

Please someone help..  This is driving me crazy..

It did work, but it stopped working..  I think it's something else.. I just don't know..

Yes, I had it working on my tablet..

but, now it won't accept anything... The boxes just stay gray, not even blue..

That sounds like they have been made resd only or the form has been corupted some how.
