Hi, so: I hope this doesn't come across as confusing! Please let me know if I can better clarify in parts.
But: I have six computers that all have different versions of Adobe Reader, all used for proofreading. When I had them all pull up the same document, I found that only 2 of them show the certain text on the document as bold.
Looking at their Adobe versions, the 2 that could see the bold text have Adobe X Pro version 10.1.10. The other computers have either older versions of Adobe X Pro or just have Adobe Pro DC. One of them even has Adobe X Pro version 10.1.9 and still couldn’t see the bold text.
They all have the same fonts installed.
Is this a known problem? When I look it up, nothing really surfaces, and I would like to get all the editors on the same playing field for editing.
Is the solution just to get them all on the same version?

Given that only one version shows bold, maybe there is a bug in that version, and it isn't supposed to in any. Can you share a file (public site, post link)?

Oh, yes, with screen shots showing where to look! (You can't email them).

Unfortunately, the documents are client-specific and have some private information on them. The issue is not easily replicated either as it seems to happen at random between jobs/projects.
I could include a screenshot of the documents and their differences between computers but that would only show you bold/normal styled text, which I don't think is helpful?
Please let me know what else I could provide. I agree that it seems to be an issue with just one version.

Let's see. What might help is a screen shot of
1. The difference.
2. For each of the two versions shown, what you see in File > Properties - Fonts. (Scroll down to show the specific fonts, or multiple shots please).
