Colours in PDF have changed for all my files

As of today, all my existing PDF files, and any new Word files I save in PDF format, are showing with a solid black background and bright green font.

I haven't changed any settings, so am unsure what to do.

Any suggestions?

Take a look in Acrobat or Acrobat Reader's preferences (whichever one you use) under Accessibility. See if "Replace colours" has somehow become set.
