content in pdf being overwritten

When I email 2 or more pdfs to a client in a single email, the information contained in the first pdf opened overwrites the information contained in the other pdfs. To prevent this I must send each pdf in separate emails. Is anyone else having this issue? Any troubleshoot solutions?

Do your attachments have the same name?

No.

Each pdf has its own unique name.

Do you see this in

(a) the email you prepare, before you send it

(b) an email you sent to yourself

(c) only on other people's systems when they get your email?

What email app do you use to send?

We use the Mac mail email app.
