Copy & Paste on the Microsoft outlook message preview pane

I feel like I should be able to click/open PDF documents to preview them in the Outlook preview pane, and then be able to highlight/select/copy text from the PDF file while still in the preview pane.

But right now, I can’t highlight/select/copy text without fully opening the file.

is there some type of add-in that I need with adobe? Is it on Outlook's side?

Why do you feel like that?

Because good software is intuitive. You know how much of a waste of my time it is for me to download and save a pdf file and then open it in ACROBAT just to copy text out of a comment? In the world of packaging design you need to do this sometimes many times a day. Why did you bother to reply?
