Digital signature information

I created a digital signature yesterday, and due to the small font of the details, I did not catch a misspelled word and I want to correct it.  How do I do this?  I have version XI, I believe.  I must get this corrected.

Signatures are Final. You must make a new signature.

And how do I do that when I go to sign and, instead of a pop up message asking me to create a signature, it goes directly to signature?  Step by step instructions would be most appreciated!  Thank you so very much!  Headed to a short meeting now, but will be back to my desk soon.

I don't have Acrobat XI here, hopefully someone else can give those detailed instructions.

My IT contact has been able to delete the erroneous signature so I could create a new one.  I will end this chat.  Thank you.
