Hello, I use adobe acrobat reader, and randomly, when I use my eraser tool to erase something, it automatically erases all dots on the page.
This is so frustrating, please help. And again that happens at random timings, I tried to diagnose the problem but couldn't do anything. Please reply as fast as you can, I got toms of work to do.

Hi Sunder,
As you have mentioned above when you use the eraser tool, it automatically erases all dots on the page. Do you mean it erases the dots you added in the PDF or the dots already in the PDF?
I am assuming that you are referring to the eraser tool under the comment tool options.
It would be helpful if you can share the screenshot of the original file and the file after using the eraser tool.
To add the screenshot here, please use the insert icon provided in the reply window as shown below:
Once you click on this icon, you get a small window.
Click on Insert Image and then browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.
Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.
Share the version number of the Adobe Reader installed on your system.
Take help of the steps mentioned here Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
Also, let us know the OS you are working on.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Meenakshi

Yes the comment eraser tool erases all dots the second you erase anything. This is especially annoying as I use this program for math exams online.… I just downloaded the latest version from your site: 18.011.20040.19174
