on mac 10.11.4 using adobe acrobat reader DC there is no option in the print dialog for double sided printing. I have to open documents in Preview to get double sided print capability

this doesn't work of DC (i hate this version.
the link you sent is for X. did you read what the person asked?
two-sided printing is disabled for my fiery printer. why?
DC does not give me fiery specific options. why? indesign does.
i hate this version. i hate that i cannot go back to X or whatever used to work well.

This DOESN'T work!!! Still no option for me to print double sided no matter what it's called! Read that simplex is reason imbedded in Adobe system and when I double click inside the pdf file i'm trying to print, it shows double sided then simplex written here but NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF!!!

This is not acrobat reader DC problem. Go to - Windows 10 setting - > Devices -> Printers and scanners - > you have to choose your printer -> Manage ->Printer properties -.> Device Settings-> and in Duplex Unit you have to choose option - Installed

Did you notice that the original post said he/she is on a Mac, not Windows.
