Drawing Error on first open but not second open

I've received errors when opening a perfectly good PDF for the first time.  I know it is perfectly good because I can close Acrobat and open it again and the second time (and all subsequent times for the rest of day) the file opens without complaints.  When I'm opening the file it is NOT from Acrobat, meaning that Acrobat opens as a result of me double clicking the file in Windows Explorer (or, in my case Chrome, which I have set to use the System Viewer).  The errors usually (but not always) complain about a missing Font (not the same one every time) on the first pop and then a drawing error on the second pop up.  Then the first few pages, if not all the pages, are missing text (like missing entire paragraphs).

Below is the output from Help->Generate System Report.  It should be noted that the system report only lists two monitors when I actually have three (two external and one laptop monitor, all three set to 1920x1080):

Here's a screenshot with the first time I opened the document on the left.  I verified the documents are identical using Beyond Compare 4 which reported the files are "Binary same":
