Under what circumstances is further editing blocked after a signature is applied? What if two signatures are needed?

Hi There,

Thanks for reaching out. As described above, you need to edit the PDF after signature, correct?

If a PDF is signed using a digital ID or certificate, it's locked to prevent changes to the document. If you're the only one signer, you can remove the signature and then work on the document or edit the source document.

If you got a signed PDF, you can request the signer to remove the signature and share the PDF or send an unsigned copy of the PDF.

For more information please use the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/edit-signed-PDF.html

If you want to have multiple signs on a document you can get documents signed by others using the Fill and Sign tool, which relies on cloud services provided by Adobe Sign. It lets signers quickly sign agreements from anywhere using a web browser or mobile device. Signers are not required to sign up or purchase any Adobe product to sign the agreements.

For detailed information please use the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/send-for-signature.html

Hope this helps

Regards

Amal
