Elimination of navigation panes and menu bars

Good Morning,

I need to send my document to a court, but it will not be accepted by the court if the navigation panes and menu bars are on it.  How can i eliminate them from my document?  Or, do they get eliminated when you send a document to someone else?  I have attempted to hide these elements, then save, but to no avail.   I'm working on a PC system.  Thank you, Lin

These menus are not a part of the document. They are a part of the application that opens that document (Adobe Reader).

It's possible to tell the application to hide them when the file is opened, but not if you have the free Reader. You need Acrobat for that.

So, what you’re telling me is that when I send the document out, the panes and bars will show up, correct? Thank you.

Depends on the application used to open the file by the recipient.
