Is it possible to embed fonts in Acrobat Reader DC? How? I need to do this for publishing in lulu.com.
No, not with the free product. You sometimes can with paid-for Acrobat. But you often have an option in making the PDF, check the software you are using.

I found out I CAN embed fonts when saving as a .pdf in Word 2010. Click on Options, then under PDF options, check ISO 19005-1 compliant. This option is preserved too, for your next .pdf document. Whew!

Am I doing all of this in, Word? I am not familiar with Word. Someone said to use Adobe. (I pay) I have DC and to hit file, print, and then in the drop down select PDF, which I do not have as an option. you should go to properties and so on, but without a PDF option, I cannot continue. I was just wondering if you are doing all of this in word. My document is not there, unless I convert it from my PDF. If I do that, then how can I embed the fonts that are in my PDF??
