I work on a company that sells car body chunks. We have a PDF order form in our website with a car body picture, so basically our clients download the form, print it, fill it in, circle with a pen around the body part they need and fax it to us.
Now my boss would like that this process be entirely digital avoiding either the hard print as well the fax step, so the client can download the form, fill it in directly on computer and email it back to us. I know that with the new Acrobat Reader DC you can do this in any PDF by just using the proper tools available in "Comment" and "Fill & Sign". The problem is that it may be like rocket science for some people to find the "Tools" tab and figure how to use the available features. We could write down in our website a small step-by-step guide but I really doubt that someone will bother to read it. Anyway, you know how it is.
So I was after a way to embed the fill and draw features in the PDF itself, so when the person opened the PDF document there would be the two tools there available on top. Actually I am more concerned with the DRAW feature because I know how to add fillable fields. Would it be possible? There is any Adobe or even a 3rd party software that allow it?
Any clue appreciated!
