Error: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working

We have several PDF documents that are not opening when streamed to a browser. The files open fine when opened directly, but return an error when the same document is requested from the browser. The other observation is that when the application is tested locally on a windows development station the file will open without issue. When deployed to Linux the reader returns, “Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working.” The error only occurs for some documents.

I would like to send a heap dump, but I need assurance that the original document is not somehow embedded in the dump as the file is binary and I cannot tell what is contained. The documents in question are real production documents that contain NPI/PII data, so I would need to try to recreate in a test environment if the dump file contains the original document.
