Error message on Mac when saving pdf file via print dialog box: 'Saving a PDF file when printing is not supported. Instead, choose File > Save.'

When saving the document via Save / Pdf the pictures in the document itself will not show on the iPhone. How do I get this to work?

Any help is much appreciated!

Also, I am using the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Thank you for your fast responses.

Response I got from contacting adobe support:

"The option to save... with Adobe pdf printer is present in Windows OS only, you can print in Mac but can't save with Adobe PDF printer on it."

It's unbelievable to me that this remains an issue after so long - I complete a long form in Adobe, go to print as pdf so I can upload for e-signatures, but it won't allow me to. Tried to print/save in a variety of ways, but looks like I'll have to print a physical piece of paper and THEN scan it to upload for e-signatures? Can this be right?

Hello...I am wondering if you ever found a workaround to this problem as I am encountering the same thing now.

I just encountered this issue, and it's stopping me from completing work for a client. This is really a very unecessary omission on Adobe's part. PDF printingshould be standard accross all OS'.
