Error message" An error occurred"- Acrobat Reader

i get the message " An error occurred" while signing into my Adobe Reader. Can someone please help me to explain why this is happening?

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Please update your application to latest version from Help>Check for Updates and share the version from Help>About Acrobat Reader DC.

Also, kindly share the screen shot of the error message you observe.
