Thanks for the details. It seems you are using an older version of Reader. Kindly install latest version of Reader from: https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

I downloaded the new version, but can not export a PDF to an excel file. ????

Is there a plan I can buy that has customer service via phone?

Hi Michaelb,

Apologies for the delay in response, I hope you would be able to fix it by now.

If the issue still persists, as described above you are not able to convert the PDF to Excel, correct?

Checking into your account we see that you have an active subscription for Export PDF, so you can easily convert the PDF file to Excel.

Please try to update the application to the latest version 19.12.20036. Go to Edit > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version available you may refer to the link - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products​

Try to repair installation. Go to Help > Repair Installation.

Try exporting the file online Adobe Document Cloud

You may also refer to the help article in the link  - Using Adobe Export PDF
