As i mentioned in the title one of my coworkers explorer freezes when he tries to view them in preview pane.
There is no error popping up or anything like that.
Important sidenote: I've reviewed this 'solution' but my security settings we're correct as stated in this forum post https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/an-internal-error-has-occurred/m-p/13332260

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Please try to remove unknown Groups or Users from Folder C:\Users\%YourUsername%\AppData\Local\Adobe
Right Click on Folder -> Preferences -> Security Tab
As described in the correct answer marked here (https://adobe.ly/3YfHrgd) and see if that works for you.
If it still doesn't work, please collect the the Adobe CC logs (https://adobe.ly/3SdVSNK) , Procmon logs (Win Only) (https://adobe.ly/3LtjR7M) and crash/freeze logs (https://adobe.ly/3y4gcu6) and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud and generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.
