  1. Hello!

I wanted to come and see if there is any possibility of Read Out Loud being added to your Android Reader app! I love the tool offered on the desktop and I've been using it while I've been in college over the last several years! It has literally been a major factor in me getting this far in my education.  I became legally blind 8 years ago.  Now I'm working on my thesis every chance I get - and I can't always have my computer with me.  Being able to switch back and forth to my notes without interrupting reading makes Read Out Loud much better than TTS, which is okay,  but isn't helping me now.

Is this feature coming at all? Or do I need to settle for one of these others that don't even qualify as second-rate?

Hi @Meg5CF6

Hope you are doing well.

As per the issue, description to have Read-out-loud feature on the Android Reader application. We do have the read-out-loud feature for the Android Acrobat reader application. To use the feature :

1. Open the PDF in Acrobat reader mobile

2. Tap three dots on the top right corner HarshVardhanPareek_2-1636361402492.png

3. Tap on the Headphone icon

then it will start reading the entire document.

For more details here is a help document you can refer to: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/android/en/

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh
