Fields going blank in PDF when scrolling to page; fields not blank if you select page number

Experiencing the strangest thing;

I have a series of PDFs that have fields pre-filled out on various pages of the document. When opening said PDFs in macOS Preview or Chrome/Firefox's built-in PDF readers, the files read correctly with all fields filled out.

However when when opening with Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat DC, the fields are only filled out as long as you select the page number at the top (or using Organize Pages to jump to a page).

If you scroll to the page, all the fields are blank.

Again, these PDFs load perfectly in other PDF software, and even work in Acrobat and Reader provided you don't scroll down to a page. Tested on several macOS and Windows machines with various versions of both Reader and DC.

Can't provide an example file because of NDA but was wondering if this is something anyone has seen before?
