We have DocuSigned a contract and sent it to a client for counter signature, but the client is unable use Fill & Sign in Adobe. I have tested it at my end and I get a message in Adobe saying "The author has specified which forms you can fill", but it will not let me add a signature anywhere. I have not amended anything in DocuSign to restrict this functionality and the issue appears to be at Adobe's end. Can someone please urgently assist?

Hi,
Is the Sign tool in Fill and Sign disabled or you are unable to place the signature on the PDF?

Hi,
From the image it looks like that the PDF document has already been digitally signed. That is why the sign option in Fill and sign is disabled.

Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,
The document requires two signatures. The first signature was executed via DocuSign. The second signatory wished to use Adobe Fill & Sign to add their signature. It's at this point that we are experiencing the issue and the signatory is unable to add their signature in Adobe Reader (or Acrobat).
Thanks

Hi,
For placing the more than one signature on a PDF you can use Digital Signature.
For accesing it you go to Tools-> certificates -.> Digital Signature.
For more information about Digital Signature you can refer https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/digital-ids.html
Thanks,
