finding my partially saved unsigned doc with the work still there?

so i was working filling out a doc and i made sure to save it as i wanted to finish it after my chromebooks battery recharged when i got back on all my work  was gone from the saved doc can anyone please help me find it or perhaps lead me to anouther app i can use to finish filling out the doc without feer of saving nothing? or just maybee help me understand what the point of saving the work and it not being saved anything to help explain the maddness would be great and i downloaded adobe just for this purpious and am running 23.9.1 and chromebook os Version 118.0.5993.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)

no its why did my saved half finished doc clear itself before i got back to it question?

this would be my first time useing this and if i can find my partully compleadted doc i may not need again for anouther year or more i just dont use adobe at all and the 1 time i did this is were it got me haveing to ask a comunity why and were it went aftrer i saved it. so please exscuse my lack of knowing how when or were i really just mwanted to finish my doc and never think about adobe again but the doc is to important

oh and by the way if i new it was going to be this complacated to find out why it disapeard im starting to think i may have been better off just redoing it but then id have been very upset if after all this by battery got low and id haft to do it a 3rd time

the only reason it's been laborious is because adobe has more than one app and service .that are related to document handling and you gave no hint of which you were using.
