General error

Hi,

We get an general error when using Acrobat Reader.

When we have read the document and push the button Bestatigt normally the is automaticly an email in outlook as a reply to the person who send us this document.

Now we get this error.

On an other computer its still working fine but this (new) computer is giving this error.

"Warning from Javascript window" | Error: General error; Editing has failed.

Any one knows how to fix this?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing? What is the workflow/steps you are doing, that lead you to this error message? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check .

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader you are using? To check the version go to help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20085 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
