Getting "There was an error while reading a stream"

When opening a few pdf files, I get "There was an error while reading a stream" using Acrobat Reader. I'm able to open other PDF files.

These PDF files were converted from JPEG. Similar posts have not been able to help me resolve this issue.

OS: macOS

Adobe: Acrobat Reader DC Version 2019.008.20071
