Has the end of support date for 32-bit versions been postponed?

Hello,

as can be read, the 32-bit support for Acrobat should have been discontinued as of January 2023:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-reader-32-bit-os.html

Fortunately, I continue receive updates (current: 23.003.20269).

Has the deadline been postponed?

Is there a new one?

Thanks and greetings,
Martin

Hi m-fessler,

Thank you for reaching out.

There is no change in the deadline. As mentioned, Acrobat (32-bit) installers are available for download but will not be tested or supported on 32-bit operating systems. The application might be updating; however, it is not tested or supported on 32-bit operating systems. You may or may not experience issues while using the updated version.

For information on updates, refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html

Hope that answers your question.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

@Meenakshi Negi

Hello Meenakshi,

many thanks for the answer!

I understand, but then the statement

End of support means that Adobe no longer provides technical support, including product and/or security updates (...) [Link]

seems a bit misleading.

Nevertheless, it is pleasing that Adobe is not (yet) abandoning 32-bit installations.
Just successfully updated an installation to 23.008.20470.

Thank you and greetings,

Martin
