On Canadian website when you click to download something it comes up to view the full contents of this document you need a later version of the PDF viewer. You can upgrade to the latest version of adobe reader from Adobe.com. It then has a link to Adobe. I downloaded the latest version of Adobe and it still gives me the same msg as before with latest version downloaded.
Thanks for asking and your help. I am stuck.

Try this: download the file. Click a save icon if you see a message about needing a newer Adobe Reader in the browser, anyway download it. Then open the downloaded file.

What browser do you use?

I had the same problem with a Canadian Immigration document. My Adobe reader was up-to-date. I switched from Firefox to IE to open it, and it worked fine.

scootersda - What hat means is that the website's browser JavaScript to check for the Adobe Reader browser plug-in version is incorrectly identifying the version of Reader. You might want to mention that to them if you haven't already.
