This happened automatically until this week.

Adobe reader X

Windows 7

I would open Adobe reader, click file:open and the documents that had just downloaded would appear at the top of the list. Now, every time, I have to change the programs and date columns for each document. It is a right faff. There don't appear to be in preferences any options for opening files. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Cheers

Hi Jean,

Adobe Reader X is end of support. Refer: Adobe Acrobat X and Adobe Reader X End of Support | Adobe Document Cloud

You may try resetting preferences for reader using the steps given in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default. reboot the machine after resetting preferences and check if that helps.

Let us know if you need any further help.
